Phase II | Construction Started | Where we are building next
11:33AM February 07, 2020
Lake Region Electric Cooperative management and Board of Trustees have recently agreed to proceed with Phase II of our fiber-to-the-home deployment. Roughly 800 miles of fiber will be constructed overhead and underground in Phase II, extending our network to thousands of more members. These members will now have the option to connect to one of the fastest networks around. Providing high-speed internet | simple TV | reliable home phone.
We have already started our competitive fiber-to-the-home build-out in the area of Tahlequah: Greystone and Southridge Addition. You can view our map and enter your address and verify if you can connect now to our network or what step your address is in Phase II. Please, we encourage you to pre-register ahead of development if possible, to help us design/engineer and plan for your service connection.
We are also working in areas of Wagoner County and northern Cherokee and southern Cherokee County. (view zones in orange for Phase II build)
Lake Region is future-proofing the needs of our members and local communities by building and extending our high-speed fiber network to many more potential customers.
Phase II (orange zones on map) started early 2020 and is expected to be completed in 18 - 24 months. Then if all goes well, we will evaluate rolling right into Phase III (grey areas on the map)
Again we thank you, our subscribers, and future subscribers for making this project successful!
